Workshop on The Art of Advocacy Outreach, Media & Movement Building

As part of the Climate Impacted Dwellers-led Agro-Ecological Stewardship for Restoring Wetlands (ReWET) project, YouthNet Global conducted a powerful workshop titled “The Art of Advocacy Outreach, Media & Movement Building.” This session aimed to equip community stewards, local organizers, and young activists with tools and strategies to amplify their voices and effectively communicate the urgency of wetland restoration.

Held in collaboration with project partners, the workshop created a vibrant learning space where participants explored the interconnected roles of storytelling, advocacy, and strategic media engagement in advancing environmental justice. Through interactive sessions, they learned how to frame their lived experiences, design grassroots campaigns, engage journalists, and use both digital and offline platforms to build momentum for policy change.
