ReWET Team Meets Gulshan Society to Explore Collaboration for Lake Restoration
As part of its ongoing outreach and partnership-building efforts, the ReWET team recently presented the project to members of the Gulshan Society (GS) to discuss potential collaboration for restoring and protecting the Gulshan-Banani Lake.
The meeting was attended by the president, vice president, treasurer, and several executive committee members of Gulshan Society. The ReWET team shared project objectives focused on restoring urban lakes through agroecology, nature-based solutions, and community-led action.
Discussions highlighted how ReWET’s goals align with Gulshan Society’s mission of ensuring a pollution-free and well-maintained lake environment. Both sides expressed interest in working together towards cleaner lake edges, improved ecosystem health, and responsible community stewardship in the Gulshan area.
ReWET looks forward to building a strong partnership with Gulshan Society in creating a more sustainable and livable urban environment.
